Reminders |
1. All stations should review the
ERCRC EOP and repeater guidelines for severe
weather operation.
2. Check to be sure the ERCRC simplex frequency of 146.580 MHz.is
programmed into your radios.
3. Do not
report:
Hail smaller than quarter size to the Net, EOC or NWS.
There is no need for negative reports such as; "it's not raining here"
4. Do
report: Water over the roadway,
Significant
cloud to ground lightning,
Hail quarter size or larger,
Funnel clouds,
Tornados and
rotating wall clouds.
5.
Remember;
it is a funnel cloud until it reaches the ground then it becomes
a tornado.
If it isn't rotating it isn't a tornado. Watch for
a
debris cloud. |
