 Minutes of 11 July 2006 Meeting

The meeting was called to order by President Scott Neher, KCØBHE.

In attendance were Dwayne KBØFJI, Bill KCØVBF, Tim KA4CKR, Tom WØUY, Vivian NØLQE, Raymond KCØWPJ, Beth KC0WPI, Larry KØSFV, Charley KCØWPK, Duwayne NØVID, Charlie KSØCG, Scott KCØBHE, Jeff KCØRWI, Zack WØZC,

The main point of discussion was once again Field Day 2006. The points were totaled and sent in. The WØWR station made 239 contacts. The Venture Crew did not camp out with us, but most of them did stop by and check out the Field Day activities, along with several CERT members, the Sheriff and a Magistrate Judge. Tom says the new logging software was a success as well as using the Reno County Command Trailer for the operating position.

The next CERT class is scheduled for August 5^th, 12^th and 19^th from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. There are over 30 persons signed up for this class.

The meeting was adjourned. The next meeting will be October 10^th, 2006 at Mennonite Manor immediately following the RCKARA meeting. The reason for skipping the September 12^th meeting is due to the Kansas State Fair and the Kansas Emergency Management Association conference being held that week.
