These photos are of the Jump Radio Assembled by Tim KA4CKR
This is Tim's home station as well as his "Jump Radio". With a small desk it fits nicely along with a loptop for logging.
Equipment includes; Yaesu FT-857D, LDG Z100 auto tuner and MFJ-4125 power supply.
Velcro/elastic strap holds the Z100 tuner onto the side wall of the box.
You can see the power cord running out the front opening of the box. Soon a plug mounted to the outside of the box will tidy up this situation.
This view shows the box packed and ready to travel. An accessory bag (not shown) is used to hold antennas and power cords.
The box top has a small compartment to hold smaller accessory and repair items.
Two available power cords are included with either cigarette plug or Anderson Power Poles for connecting to a DC power source.
Antenna connectors for HF and VHF/UHF antennas.
Power for the radio can be provided from a car battery by attaching the battery to these binding posts.

The box lid is easily removed for more compact operation.

Tim hopes you have enjoyed viewing his station. Perhaps this will inspire you to create your own version of a "Ham Radio Station in a Box".
