Storm Fury
On The Plains Program March 16, 2010 |
The National Weather Service storm spotter
training session will be held in Hutchinson on Tuesday March
16th. The program beginning at 6:30 PM will be held at the
Fire Training Facility in Hutchinson, located at 3201 E 4th
Avenue.
No prior experience is required, and there is no registration
necessary to attend.
THERE WILL BE NO ERCRC TRAINING NET ON
THE 16TH.

program in Hutchinson the program will be presented again at the
Partridge Elementary school building on Monday, April 5 at 7:00. |

Equipment Check |
New hams and
"old timers" too, be sure you have the Emergency Radio
Club's simplex frequency 146.580 MHz
programmed into your VHF radios. Don't forget to check
those new radios that Santa Clause brought in 2009! |

Battery Maintenance
|
Before severe weather begins check the operation of your emergency radios,
antennas and batteries. Verify that your battery operated equipment is
operational. Keep the radio's batteries fully charged.

Park Great Fun |
The
inaugural ERCRC "Radio In The Park" (RITP) was attended by 11 area hams
Saturday November 1.
There were 5 stations on the air with PSK, FM, SSB and CW. View PHOTOS of the
