The Reno County Public Safety communications has moved to new radio frequencies in the 800 MHz. range. Knowing that many residents of Reno County monitor public safety radio traffic; especially for severe weather information and because digital trunking scanners are expensive and difficult to program the Reno County Office Of Emergency Management is providing a web based scanner that will be available for residents to monitor. The scanner can monitor radio traffic via the World Wide Web. The link shown below will take you to the scanner web page so you can become familiar with its operation.
